The Infinity Project offers an
innovative curriculum, which emphasizes both the fundamentals
and fun of engineering, as well as prepares the next generation
for the High Tech and Engineering age.
If you are interested in offering this curriculum at your school,
please complete the application below. The Infinity application
process is as follows:
- Admission
into the Infinity Project is competitive - applying "early"
will substantially increase your chance of being admitted
into the program.
- Upon receipt of your application, we will confirm your
30-minute phone interview to learn about your school, your
students and the potential impact of the program.
- Our admissions committee will then review your application
and interview results and make the admission decision based
on this information and program availability.
- Acceptance packets will be mailed upon completion of the
phone interview.

You will be entered in our database and considered for involvement
in The Infinity Project for the 2009-2010 academic year.

School Site Requirements
- A motivated Math, Science or Technology teacher with moderate
to high comfort level in the use of PCs.
- Access to a Computer Lab: minimum configuration-standard
PC with a USB port.
- Ability to attend a five-day (35 hour) summer Infinity
Project Professional Development Institute prior to offering
the course.
Estimated Costs
- (Professional Development)The Infinity Project Professional Development Institute is a 35-hour intensive professional development program for math, science or technology instructors who will be teaching the curriculum. Cost: $750 plus travel and lodging. Professional development training is delivered by Master Infinity Project Instructors who have been teaching the course in their own school for several years.
- (Classroom Technology)Infinity Project Technology Kit: $399 per kit. Schools typically order one kit per computer in the course computer lab. Course Description
Objectives:
- Expose students to the basic math, science and engineering
principles of modern technology. Help insure that they are
educated citizens of the Information Age.
- Teach students how engineers envision, design, and create
the technology around them.
- Offer students extensive hands-on opportunities to design
modern high-tech devices.
- Prepare students to pursue post-secondary education in
engineering and technology related disciplines.
- Open students to career opportunities within the engineering
and hi-technology economy.
Summer Professional Development Institutes
Professional Development Institutes will be offered at a variety
of locations during the summer. Please see Professional
Development section for details. (Note: All Institutes are
Monday through Friday spanning 35 contact hours.)
